Seacor Marine, a leading U.S. offshore vessel owner and operator, has signed an $82 million contract with China’s Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding for the construction of two platform supply vessels (PSVs). The vessels are slated for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.Each PSV, valued at $41 million, will feature a 4,650 deadweight tonnage capacity and a 1,000 square meter deck area. They will be equipped with medium-speed diesel engines and an integrated battery energy storage system, reflecting Seacor Marine's commitment to advancing operational efficiency and sustainability.

This agreement aligns with Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding's growing portfolio, following PSV orders earlier this year from Capital Offshore, a company backed by Evangelos Marinakis. The newbuilds signify Seacor Marine's strategic investment in enhancing its fleet to meet evolving demands within the offshore energy sector.
