Partners CY Shipping and BigLift Shipping have expanded their heavylift vessel fleet to six ships, with the addition of two vessels built at Jing Jiang Nanyang Shipbuilding in China. The first vessel, belonging to CY Shipping, is scheduled for delivery in Q4 2025, followed by the second vessel, owned by BigLift Shipping, in Q2 2026. These 180-meter-long ships boast a fully unobstructed deck space of 6,020 square meters. Although specific pricing details have not been disclosed, Johan Boer, commercial director at BigLift Shipping, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership's growth, highlighting shared values and the commencement of a newbuilding program. Since 2019, BigLift Shipping and CY Shipping have collaborated to combine their heavy transport shipping capabilities, marking this expansion as a milestone in their ongoing cooperation.
