Regent Seven Seas Cruises has officially commenced construction of its newest ultra-luxury cruise ship, Seven Seas Prestige, with a steel-cutting ceremony held on October 21, 2024, at Fincantieri's shipyard in Marghera, Venice. The vessel, which is part of Regent’s newly introduced Prestige Class, is slated for delivery in 2026, with a sister ship expected to follow in 2029.
At 77,000 gross tons and measuring 257 meters in length, Seven Seas Prestige will feature 434 expansive suites, providing accommodations for approximately 850 passengers. It will offer one of the highest guest-to-space ratios in the cruise industry, ensuring an exclusive and spacious experience for luxury travelers. The vessel is set to redefine ultra-luxury cruising, introducing new accommodation categories and dining experiences, along with cutting-edge environmental technologies.
The Prestige Class represents the next phase in Regent Seven Seas’ evolution, following the successful Explorer series, which includes Seven Seas Explorer (2016), Seven Seas Splendor (2020), and Seven Seas Grandeur (2023). All previous vessels were also constructed by Fincantieri at its Sestri Ponente and Ancona shipyards. Seven Seas Prestige aims to embody timeless elegance and continue the legacy of exceptional sophistication for which the brand is known.
