Longship Group has formally commissioned a new series of four advanced vessels, designated as the PMAX ECO TRADER series, with an option for an additional four ships. This significant newbuilding initiative will be executed in collaboration with GS Projects and Ship and Steelbuilding (SaS), with construction taking place at the Dutch shipyard in Waterhuizen. The vessel design has been entrusted to Groot Ship Design.

The PMAX ECO TRADER vessels are meticulously tailored to fulfill Longship Group's specialized shipping requirements. These ships, each with a deadweight tonnage of 6,000, are engineered to achieve exceptional fuel efficiency and incorporate cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies. The first of these vessels is scheduled for delivery in early 2026.This undertaking underscores Longship Group’s strategic commitment to advancing sustainable practices within the maritime sector. The PMAX ECO TRADER series represents a pivotal move towards reducing environmental impact, aligning with global efforts to enhance the sustainability of shipping operations.
