It is a combination of Guangzhou Huangpu Shipyard and Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard which were merged at the end of 2013. Huangpu Wenchong is a major construction base of navy vessels, special engineering vessel, offshore engineering vessel in south China as well as the biggest manufacturer of Dredger and feeder container in China.
