HJSC is the oldest shipbuilder in Korea and has a long history of building innovative vessels, including the first membrane-type LNG carrier constructed in Asia. Design facilities HJSC has established full design facilities, which enable the company to take a design from concept to completion, utilising both physical and computational models. Construction facilities HJSC’s Busan facility has a maximum annual capacity of 900K DWT. The maximum size of vessel that can be built is limited by the dry dock's 150K DWT capacity.
