The Dry Dock is an important adjunct to the Shipyard for undertaking repairs of ships. The Wet Basin with two arms serves additional afloat repairs. It is capable of handling vessels upto 70,000 DWT. The Dry Dock, the biggest and modern dock in the East Coast, has accomplished intricate repair jobs on a variety of Naval Ships including Submarines, Merchant Ships and Oil Rigs.
