Damen Shipyards Den Helder started out as a small ship repair business in 1923 and seventy years later joined the Damen Shipyards Group. Damen Shiprepair Oranjewerf is located in the port of Amsterdam. It occupies a highly strategic location at the junction of the two major waterways; the IJ and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal.
