Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard Co., Ltd. (HVS) is a joint venture. 70% of the company is owned by Korea’s Hyundai Group, represented by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., Ltd. (HMD), and 30% by the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (VINASHIN). The company was established in 1996, and the shipyard is located in Vietnam. Since it was established, HVS has performed all types of repair and conversion to the full satisfaction of its clients. In 2008, HVS built on this experience and successfully entered the shipbuilding market.more
