ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) and Wanhua Chemical Group have established a joint venture, AW Shipping Limited, to own and operate a fleet of Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) and product tankers. This venture transports LPG and other petroleum products from ADNOC to Wanhua's global manufacturing bases. AW Shipping has awarded contracts worth approximately $1.9 billion for the construction of nine Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLECs) and four Very Large Ammonia Carriers (VLACs) to Jiangnan Shipyard in China.
