This will be achieved through the implementation of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems. These systems will be developed to address the nature and scale of the identified Occupational Health & Safety Risks together with the inherent Environmental Aspects. Dormac are committed to the prevention of injury, ill health and pollution. Our management systems comprising formalised policies and procedures will ensure continual improvement of health, safety and environmental performance, to the benefit of all employees, contractors and impacted parties. Conservation of natural resources, prevention of pollution and the adoption of safe working practice at all times are the shared responsibility of every employee, contractor, supplier and visitor. Dormac will ensure as a minimum compliance to all applicable legislation and other requirements as appropriate. The company will identify and assess all health and safety related hazards and environmental aspects in order to implement measures to minimise and where possible nullify such risks and aspects. Dormac empowers each employee to contribute to this objective and will undertake education, training and open communication in order to facilitate this goal. Dormac will provide the necessary resources to accomplish its objectives of conserving natural resources, preventing pollution and maintaining mandatory health and safety standards and practices.
